§ 14. Mr. Bowles
asked the Secretary of State for Air what he has done to ensure that all air force personnel shall be fully advised how to take advantage of the emergency scheme for recruitment and training of teachers.

§ Sir A. Sinclair
A Ministry of Education leaflet outlining this scheme was issued to all R.A.F. Commands in May, 1944, to enable officers of the R.A.F. Educational Service to deal with inquiries in this matter. A supplementary memorandum based on information recently provided by the Ministry of Education has also been issued during the present month with the same object.

§ Mr. Bowles
Will my right hon. Friend do a little more than just circulate Ministry of Education circulars to the High Commands? Will he not arrange for that information to be posted to every establishment so that the rank and file in the Air Force may know what to do?

My hon. Friend cannot have heard my reply. I have done what he is now suggesting I should do. A supplementary memorandum has also been issued.
