Mr. Rostron Duckworthasked the Minister of Health whether, to check the rapid deterioration of many houses owing to lack of suitable material for current repair, he will, in the interests of adequate accommodation, consider the release of the necessary requirements at the earliest possible date.
§ Mr. WillinkGeneral arrangements have been made in consultation with the Ministry of Works and the Ministry of Supply to facilitate the release of essential materials and the possibilities of further assistance are now being examined.
