§ Colonel LlewellinThe increased allocation to squash manufacturers to which my hon. Friend refers is not the result of an additional supply of sugar being made available to the industry as a whole, but is the result of a re-distribution among the established members of the soft drinks industry. No question arises, therefore, of making any allocation of sugar to firms who had no established pre-war usage.
