35. Mr. Hamrnersleyasked the Secretary of State for the Colonies on what grounds the re-publication of a letter 167 appearing in "The Times," on 5th January, 1944, and signed by the hon. Member for East Willesden, has been prohibited by the Palestine censor.
§ Colonel StanleyI have no information but I am making inquiry of the High Commissioner for Palestine.
§ Mr. HammersleyCan my right hon. and gallant Friend say whether he has received any representation from the Prime Minister as to why his Parliamentary answer to a Question on 30th July, 1941, has also been suppressed by the Palestinian censor? Will he make inquiries into this matter?
§ Colonel StanleyI certainly have had no communication from the Prime Minister on that particular subject.
