§ 10. Mr. Liddallasked the Secretary of State for War if he is able to give a precise date when house property previously requisitioned for War Office purposes, and now no longer used for such purposes, will be officially regarded as de-requisitioned.
§ Sir J. GriggMy hon. Friend will appreciate that it is not possible to give any general ruling as regards the date of relinquishing requisitioned property, as every case will have to be dealt with on its merits. I can, however, assure him that I am well aware of the importance of releasing house property as early as possible, and I am in close touch with my right hon. Friend the Minister of Health on this question. My hon. Friend has sent me a general complaint relating to a certain district. If he will send me particulars of specific cases, I will gladly have them examined.
