asked the Minister of Health whether he is aware of the continued rise in the price of house property; and, in view of the shortage of houses, will he take steps to control the sale price.

This matter is under examination, and I shall make a statement as soon as I am in a position to do so.

Miss Ward

Will the Minister bear in mind that it has been under examination for a very long time, and that the position is urgent and unsatisfactory?

Mr. Willink

I am sure the hon. Lady appreciates that it is a question of quite exceptional difficulty.
