HC Deb 12 July 1944 vol 401 c1734
42. Mr. Burke

asked the Minister of Production if he has now received the report of the British Textile Mission to the U.S.A.; and if he proposes to make it available to Members of Parliament.

The Minister of Production (Mr. Lyttelton)

No, Sir, not yet. On the second part of the Question, I would refer the hon. Member to the last part of the answer I gave to the right hon. Member for Chorley (Sir D. Hacking) on 21st June.

Mr. Burke

Can the Minister say why this report has been so long delayed, and can he give a date when I might put down a Question again and get an informative reply?

Mr. Lyttelton

If the hon. Gentleman will put a Question down in a week, I think I can give him a more precise answer.
