HC Deb 23 February 1944 vol 397 c836
Mr. Arthur Greenwood

May I ask the Leader of the House whether he has any statement to make about the course of Business on the next Sitting Day?

The Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs (Mr. Eden)

On the next Sitting Day we shall ask the House to consider an Amendment, which is expected to be received from another place, to the Supreme Court of Judicature (Amendment) Bill—I understand that it is not an Amendment of very great substance—and the Motion relating to the Coal (Charges) (Amendment) (No. 1) Order.

Perhaps I might also mention that at the end of the Debate to-day on the War and International Situation, we shall ask the House to take the Report and Third Reading of the Income Tax {Officers and Employments) Bill.

Mr. Georģe Griffiths

Are we taking the Education Bill also on the next Sitting Day?

Mr. Eden

Yes, Sir, we are.
