Mr. Sorensenasked the Secretary of State for the Colonies if he is satisfied that the Rent Assessment Committee in Accra is effectively preventing the charging of excessive rents; how many complaints have been made over 12 months and in how many of these was action taken; to what extent rents have risen in Accra and Kumasi; and whether the committee will investigate complaints without public disclosure of the identity of the informant.
