HC Deb 06 December 1944 vol 406 c520
33. Mr. Liddall

asked the Secretary of State for Air what facilities are afforded to R.A.F. officers serving overseas, who are desirous of pursuing parliamentary candidatures, to meet representative organisations in England.

Sir A. Sinclair

Subject to the requirements of the war and the availability of transport every facility will be afforded to officers and airmen who wish to stand for Parliament to meet representative political organisations.

Mr. Cluse

Are these facilities confined to officers?

Sir A. Sinclair

No, Sir; I said, "officers and airmen."
