§ Mr. EdenThe British Council still wholly finances or partially subsidises five journals overseas. One of these appears daily, one weekly, two monthly and one 507 quarterly. Since the British Council first started this form of its activities in 1938, it has subsidised a number of journals for various periods, at a total cost of £28,512.
