HC Deb 02 August 1944 vol 402 cc1385-6
57. Mr. Parker

asked the Minister of Food whether he is aware of the inconvenience and discontent caused by the breakdown of milk deliveries in Romford and Hornchurch; and whether he will take steps to deal with the situation.

Colonel Llewellin

The dislocation in milk distribution to which my hon. Friend refers was confined to one distributor and was immediately investigated by my Department. As a result, normal deliveries of milk were resumed with the minimum of delay.
