HC Deb 19 April 1944 vol 399 cc185-6
26. Mr. Liddell

asked the Secretary of State for the Colonies to what extent I.C.I. are now the sole importers licensed by the Palestinian Government for the import of certain chemicals; and whether such imports relate solely to chemicals manufactured by I.C.I. or whether the licence covers other chemicals imported by I.C.I. but purchased by them from their competitors in Great Britain.

Colonel Stanley

I have made inquiry by telegram of the High Commissioner for Palestine and will communicate with the hon. Member on receipt of the High Commissioner's reply.
