§ 31. Sir C. Edwardsasked the Minister of Labour whether he has considered a letter from the secretary of the Nine Mile Point Colliery workmen about Howard Seymour, who had been dismissed from the colliery because of a dispute about the safety of his place and the absence of timber to make it safe, and whose appeal was heard but no decision given for six weeks or more, during which this man was idle and then directed to go to the Pontymister steel works, where he is now doing labouring work; and will he take steps to see that cases of this sort are dealt with more promptly and the services of such men retained in the mines?
§ Mr. BevinInquiries are already being made into this case, and I will communicate with my hon. Friend.
