HC Deb 23 September 1943 vol 392 cc358-9
5. Mr. Mander

asked the Minister of Labour whether he is now in a position to state the proposals of the Government for the organisation of domestic service after the war?

Mr. Bevin

I have nothing to add to the reply given to my hon. Friend on 24th June.

Mr. Mander

Will the Minister bear in mind in this connection the importance of securing standard conditions as regards pay, hours and holidays?

Mr. Bevin

Yes, the whole of that is being considered.
