§ The Joint Under-Secretary of State for Air (Captain Harold Balfour)Recruitment for the W.A.A.F. has temporarily ceased except for a few women from overseas and a very small number of women of high scientific or linguistic qualifications. Many trades are, however, open to serving airwomen who are suitably qualified. With the hon. and gallant Member's permission, I will circulate the current list in the OFFICIAL REPORT.
