asked the Secretary of State for Air whether he can give details of the decorations awarded to personnel of Balloon Command, including sea-going barrages, since 3rd September, 1939?

Since the outbreak of war, 43 decorations have been awarded to personnel of Balloon Command, including crews of sea-going barrages. With the hon. and gallant Member's permission, I will circulate details in the OFFICIAL REPORT.

The details are as follow:

B.E.M. … … 31
D.S.M. … … 1
Of the foregoing, two M.B.E.'s, nine B.E.M.'s and the D.S.M. were awarded to personnel of sea-going barrages.
