HC Deb 20 October 1943 vol 392 c1385
63. Captain Strickland

asked the Minister of Supply whether he is aware of the shortage of retreaded tyres available for distribution; has his attention been directed to the accumulation of worn tyres, suitable for retreading, now held by the new tyre manufacturers; and what steps he proposes to take to remedy this situation?

Sir A. Duncan
