§ Mr. BevinOn the application of the appropriate Service Department, the restriction on the voluntary enlistment of a farmer or farm worker may be waived. as it may in the case of persons engaged in other industries, if it appears, after consultation with the Government Departments concerned, that this is in the national interest.
