§ Sir K. WoodThe meetings referred to form part of the further explanatory discussions on post-war monetary questions by experts to which I referred in my speech on 12th May. The official representative of the British Treasury who is stationed at Washington and experts from some other countries who happened to be there at the time also attended. Further expert discussions will continue and there is no fresh statement which I can usefully make at this time.
