HC Deb 08 June 1943 vol 390 c535
60. Mr. Hannah

asked the Minister of Labour whether men discharged from the Forces in any way invalided have the right to such special training as may be for their benefit?

The Joint Parliamentary Secretary to the Ministry of Labour (Mr. Tomlinson)

Men discharged from the Forces on medical grounds or on account of disablement are eligible for training under the schemes operated by my Department. I am sending my hon. Friend a copy of the leaflet which has been issued on this subject.

Mr. Hannah

Is that definitely the right of wounded soldiers?

Mr. Tomlinson

Yes, Sir.

Mr. Hannah

Thank you.
