HC Deb 28 January 1943 vol 386 c617
64. Mr. Lipson

asked the Minister of Health whether he will take steps to provide domestic labour for the Standish sanatorium, in the county of Gloucester, and enable many persons suffering from tuberculosis who need treatment to obtain it?

Mr. E. Brown

I would refer my hon. Friend to the reply which was given yesterday to my hon. Friend the Member for Stroud (Mr. Perkins).

Mr. Lipson

In view of the fact that it has been admitted that at least 100 beds which might be available are empty, what is being done to deal with the matter?

Mr. Brown

If my hon. Friend will consult the answer, he will see that my right hon. Friend and I are taking steps in the matter.

Mr. Lipson

In view of the unsatisfactory nature of the reply, I beg to give notice that I will raise the question at the earliest possible moment on the Adjournment.
