HC Deb 28 January 1943 vol 386 cc592-3
17. Mr. Boothby

asked the Minister of Labour whether his attention has been called to a recent case at Aberdeen Sheriff Court, in which girls who complained of verminous billets and bad food were fined for leaving their employment in England; and whether he will take steps to ensure that mobile Scottish workers who are transferred to England are accommodated in decent billets and provided with reasonable facilities for recreation?

Mr. Bevin

I am having inquiries made and will communicate with my hon. Friend.
