§ 28. Mr. Prittasked the Secretary of State for War whether he is aware that Major-General Sir Percy R. Laurie, Provost Marshal of England, recently ordered a lance-corporal under his command to attend at a local food office to procure certain changes of the particulars in a civilian ration book wrongly held by Sir Percy Laurie, and that subsequently, when an exposure of the matter appeared possible, he gave instructions to the said lance-corporal to report for service outside Great Britain; and whether he will inquire into the matter with a view to taking the necessary disciplinary measures?
