asked the First Lord of the Admiralty whether he is aware of the conditions under which the women are employed at a naval ordnance depot, the location of which has been notified to him; and whether he will take immediate steps to remedy this state of affairs?

Yes, Sir. The heating conditions in these premises were brought to my attention by the hon. Member in a letter dated last Friday. Temporary heating arrangements have already been provided, and a permanent system will be installed as quickly as possible.
