§ 47. Mr. Hannah
asked the Prime Minister under what circumstances it is proposed to restore the independence of Korea, especially to ensure that she is strong enough to stand alone?
§ Mr. Attlee
The manner and stages by which these objectives can be achieved must obviously be considered in consultation with other United Nations in the light of developments in the Far Eastern theatre of war.
§ Mr. Hannah

Is it not the case that this State was strong enough to stand alone before until by the Anglo-Japanese Treaty it was given away to Japan by the British Government?
