HC Deb 09 September 1942 vol 383 cc160-1
80 and 81. Rear-Admiral Sir Murray Sueter

asked the Secretary of State for War (1) whether the establishment of the Army Dental Corps is now in a satisfactory position;

(2) in view of the importance of the dental service to the British Army, whether establishments that have not yet been approved can be speeded up to avoid further delay and inconvenience to the officers of the dental service; and whether he will see that the dental staffs are paid adequate emoluments and have the necessary position to carry out their responsibilities?

Mr. Sandys

The establishments of the Army Dental Corps are at present under review. I hope that it will be possible to make an announcement shortly.
