HC Deb 08 October 1942 vol 383 c1334
9. Professor Savory

asked the Minister of Labour whether he is aware that emigrants from Eire to Great Britain are being advised, before departure, to leave at a certain address in Dublin their address in Great Britain, the address of the works in Great Britain and the type of employment; and, in view of the danger of important information, left at an address in Dublin, filtering through to the German Legation, will he take steps to prevent the divulgation of particulars?

Mr. Bevin

I have no information about this. If my hon. Friend will give me further particulars I will make inquiries and communicate with him.

Professor Savory

Does my right hon. Friend realise that I have here in my hand the most absolute and irrefutable proofs of the statement in my Question?

Mr. Bevin

I have no idea what the hon. Gentleman has in his hand.
