HC Deb 01 October 1942 vol 383 c915
32. Sir Leonard Lyle

asked the Home Secretary whether his attention has been called to the methods of private detective firms, calling themselves by other names and using methods repugnant to the public sense of fairness; and whether he will call for a report on these activities with a view to suppressing them by legislation or otherwise?

Mr. H. Morrison

I have not previously received any complaints of the kind suggested; but if my hon. Friend will let me have details of any particular cases he may have in mind I will make inquiries.
