§ Mr. BevinYes, Sir. The draft of a new Fair Wages Resolution has been prepared in consultation with the British Employers' Confederation and the Trades Union Congress General Council. It is proposed to issue at a nearly date a White Paper giving the text of the draft Resolution and explaining the Government's intention with regard to its introduction.
§ Mr. Rhys DaviesWill that be brought before Parliament and subject to any amendment that may be proposed to it?
§ Mr. BevinIt will be open to Parliament at the appropriate time to adopt the Resolution or otherwise.
§ Mr. ThorneIf the matter is brought before the House of Commons and some alteration is made, will it not really have to go back to the other bodies?
