asked the President of the Board of Education how many proposals for senior schools, Church of England and Catholic, respectively, have been approved by the Board under the provisions of the 1936 Act; and how many completed?

Forty-two proposals for Church of England senior schools and 28 proposals for Roman Catholic senior schools have been approved by the Board under the Education Act, 1936. The number of these proposals which have been completed are 23 and 9, respectively.
