§ The Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs (Mr. Eden)I am grateful to my hon. Friend for drawing the attention of the House to these most interesting reports, which deserve to be widely read and studied. They illustrate the volume of supplies in warlike goods and services for which the British peoples and the other United Nations are indebted to the generosity, the skill and the industry of the United States. They show that the people of the United States are ready to spare no sacrifice in order to contribute to the common pool of supplies which will 320 be the instruments of our common victory. They also reveal, I am glad to say, that we and our Allies have been able to-make some contribution in return to American needs in goods and services. I am arranging for copies of the fifth and sixth reports to be made available in the Library and propose to circulate in the same way further reports on convenient occasions.
