§ 54. Sir Robert Taskerasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer whether he will give a list of forms issued in connection with claims arising out of the War Damage Act, 1941, and state the approximate number of copies printed?
§ Sir K. WoodA list of the forms issued to the public by the War Damage Commission is printed in Appendix I of the Commission's "Practice Notes," of which I am sending my hon. Friend a copy. The total number of these forms so far printed (excluding the explanatory pamphlets) amounts to 11,000,000. Of this, approximately 9,000,000 are in respect of the Form C.I (notification of damage), stocks of which have to be widely distributed over the country, and the forms used in connection with claims for cost of works or temporary works payments.
§ Sir R. TaskerWhile thanking my right hon. Friend for his reply, may I ask whether he will make inquiries to ascertain whether the list is complete or incomplete?
§ Sir K. WoodYes, Sir.
