§ 15. Sir Irving Alberyasked the Under-Secretary of State for War whether, with reference to Army Form B. 175, as the rendering of this Form in triplicate in most cases involves a great waste of paper, any steps are being taken to deal with similar wastages?
§ Mr. SandysArmy Form B. 175 is rendered in duplicate, not in triplicate. One copy has to be kept in the officer's personal papers, the other is returned to the Command headquarters for their information so that they may notify the unit and the officer. Drastic measures have been taken to reduce and keep down the number of returns and copies asked for.
§ Sir I. AlberyMay I ask my hon. Friend when an officer is recommended for sick leave on leaving a hospital, on the recommendation of the medical officer of the hospital, how many additional medical officers and other senior officers have to give their consent?
§ Mr. SandysPerhaps my hon. Friend will put that Question down.
