§ Mr. SandysI have been asked to reply. I am aware of these experiments. A report on them is at present being considered.
§ Mr. StokesIs the Financial Secretary aware that Mr. Maby refuses to submit himself to proper controlled experiments and is he also aware that three Departments,, the Admiralty, the Ministry of Aircraft Production, and the Ministry of Supply have all in turn been investigating this bogus proceeding and would it not be sufficient if only one had done so?
§ Mr. Glenvil HallMay we know how much this work costs?
§ Mr. SandysThese experiments were considered to be useful. If their continuance ceases to be useful they will be discontinued.
§ Mr. StokesBut is the hon. Gentleman aware that Mr. Maby refuses to submit himself to the only experiment worth while, saying that he must know whether or not the reactionary element is present before he will try, in case he is found wrong?
§ Mr. SandysI am not prepared to discuss the details of these experiments.
