§ 2 and 3. Mr. Parkerasked the Minister of Labour (1) what arrangements are being made to implement the resolutions of the International Labour Office Conference that the International Labour Office should be represented in any peace or reconstruction conference following the war, and that member States should set up representative agencies or committees for the study of the social and economic needs of the post-war world in consultation with the appropriate sections of the International Labour Office;
(2) whether he has any information about what is being done to carry out the recommendations of the International Labour Office Conference that a small tripartite committee should be set up to study and prepare measures of reconstruction and emergency measures to deal with unemployment, and that in this connection full use should be made of the existing organs of the International Labour Office such as the International Public Works Committee, Agricultural Committee, Migration Committee and Joint Maritime Commission?
§ Mr. BevinThe best means of giving effect to the resolutions of the International Labour Conference is to be considered at a meeting of the Emergency Committee of the governing body of the International Labour Office which is to be held in London shortly.
