asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer when the Government propose to introduce regulations designed to limit personal expenditure and to cut out all other forms of wastage large or small?

Is the Chancellor aware that I put down this Question to the Lord Privy Seal? Has the Chancellor studied the speech made by the Lord Privy Seal in the House on 25th February, when he stated that legislation dealing with this matter would be introduced soon? What does the Chancellor propose to do about this?
