HC Deb 30 June 1942 vol 381 cc33-4
61. Mr. Kirby

asked the Minister of Supply whether his attention has been called to the proposed dismissal of Mrs. Scott from her post as deputy labour manager of a certain Royal Ordnance factory; whether he is aware that she has rendered excellent service to the war effort and by personal initiative and sacrifice proved herself to be of value to the workers employed in the factory; and whether he can arrange to continue her services in her present post and thus assist in maintaining the existing good relations between management and the workers?

The Joint Parliamentary Secretary to the Ministry of Supply (Mr. Assheton)

My right hon. Friend has called for a full report on this case. I will communicate with the hon. Member when this has been received.
