§ The Secretary of State for Scotland (Mr. T. Johnston)On 14th March, 1942, in the schools under the management of education authorities in Scotland, there were 160,607 children on the rolls of secondary schools and departments and 577,024 on the rolls of other schools, excluding nursery schools. The numbers receiving full-time education were 158,803 and 529,124 respectively.
