GriggI understand that my hon. and gallant Friend has in mind a specific case of a soldier already serving in the non-combatant corps, who wishes to be transferred to the Royal Army Medical Corps without unconditionally renouncing his plea of conscience. Such a man is not eligible for transfer to the Royal Army Medical Corps unless he has special qualifications.
