§ Mr. TomlinsonNo, Sir. The advice of officers of the Department is however, always available if required.
§ Sir R. AclandWithout some such assistance as suggested in the Question is there not a real danger that some of these works councils will be of no effect because the people concerned do not know how they are supposed to work?
§ Mr. TomlinsonWe have not come across cases of that kind. If there is a desire to know how works councils should be run, we are quite willing to help those concerned to run them.
