§ The President of the Board of Education (Mr. Butler)In the Circular, a copy of which I am sending to my hon. Friend, I have asked local education authorities and governing bodies, where satisfied of the need by the war agricultural executive committees, to fix up to eight weeks of the total normal school holidays for the year at such times, and where necessary at short notice, as will best suit the seasonal agricultural operations of each locality.
