HC Deb 29 January 1942 vol 377 cc906-7
33. Sir John Graham Kerr

asked the Home Secretary whether the biologist responsible for the application of the biological principles of counter-shading and dazzle to war camouflage was invited to serve on the Advisory Committee on Camouflage set up in August, 1939, or on any of its successors, or to appear before the committee to substantiate his allegations regarding the mismanagement of his directions as circulated to the Fleet in 1914; and, if not, why not?

Mr. H. Morrison

No, Sir. These principles are well understood, and it has not been thought necessary to call on the biologist referred to. If, however, he desires to make representations to the Committee, they will receive careful consideration.
