asked the Under-Secretary of State for the Colonies on what date the international tin quota was so adjusted as to permit of producers in Malaya producing to the maximum of their capacity?

The international tin quota was increased to 120 per cent. for the third quarter of 1939, and since that date the permissible export of tin from Malaya has been consistently in excess of actual export.
