HC Deb 08 January 1942 vol 377 c31
54. Mr. Mander

asked the Prime Minister whether a decision has now been reached as to the relative responsibility between the Army and the Royal Air Force for the defence of aerodromes at home and overseas?

55. Mr. Purbrick

asked the Prime Minister whether he is satisfied that the improvements in the defence of aerodromes, both in respect to the actual defence as well as in the organisation, have yet reached the stage where they are as perfect as it is possible to make them?

Mr. Attlee

Perhaps my hon. Friends will be good enough to await the statement which I propose to make later in the day.
