HC Deb 25 February 1942 vol 378 cc209-10
72. Sir Leonard Lyle

asked the Minister of Information whether a decision has yet been reached regarding the publication in compact form for distribution and circulation in this country of the salient passages from Mr. Molotov's Memorandum on German Atrocities in Russia, as well as passages from the Report on German methods in Poland prepared by the Polish Ministry; and, if so, whether he can give the reasons for delay in circulating this information?

Mr. Bracken

It was decided to make one document of the two Molotov notes. They are being published for the Soviet Embassy by His Majesty's Stationery Office during next week and will be sold to the public for 2d. The report on German methods in Poland has been issued in the form chosen by the Polish Ministry of Information.

Sir Richard Acland

Is publicity also to be given to M. Stalin's speech saying that they are fighting not against the German nation but against Hitlerism?

Mr. Bracken

That has been fully reported in the Press.
