asked the Minister without Portfolio whether lie will state the last date on which the chairman of the Inter-Departmental Committee on Civil Aviation attended a meeting of the committee; and the number of meetings of the committee which have been held since that date?

While it is contrary to the normal practice to disclose details of committees of this kind, there is no objection to my saying that the Chairman attended the last meeting of the Inter-Departmental Committee on Civil Aviation which was held early in January.
