HC Deb 16 December 1942 vol 385 c1915
46. Mr. Stokes

asked the Prime Minister whether he has any statement to make about the shipping losses of the United Nations since the beginning of the war, in view of the speech by the Canadian Minister of Munitions stating that the tonnage losses are more than double the replacements?

The Deputy-Prime Minister (Mr. Attlee)

No, Sir.

Mr. Stokes

Can my right hon. Friend either deny or affirm what the Canadian Minister said?

Mr. Attlee

I have nothing to add to statements already made on the subject.
