§ The Civil Lord of the Admiralty (Captain Pilkington)Yes, Sir. Corresponding increases were promulgated a few days ago. These increases take effect from 1st October, that is, the same operative date as the increases in the Royal Navy. They are as follow: Mobile and Immobile 2nd Officers receive an increase of £25 a year, and Mobile and Immobile 3rd Officers receive an increase of £20 a year. The opportunity has also been taken to remedy an anomaly in the rate of pay of Immobile First Officers, who have been granted an increase of £30 a year.
