§ 67. Mr. McKinlayasked the Parliamentary Secretary to the Ministry of Food whether he is aware that the Food and Drugs (Adulteration) Act, 1928, is being violated in Glasgow and elsewhere in Scotland, by the sale of meat products in cans and other containers, which are being sold under a warranty as to the contents which is false; that the warranty is issued by wholesalers outwith the jurisdiction of the Scottish Courts, and is not given by the producers; and what steps he proposes to take to protect retailers and consumers alike?
